Mriya Foods Launches Partnership with German Company ULAN
Mriya Foods began its operations in Canada in January 2025 with a clear mission from the very start: to provide high-quality Ukrainian products to the growing diaspora in Canada, where the demand for ethnic goods is steadily increasing. We strive to give people abroad the opportunity to experience the taste of home and maintain a connection to Ukrainian culture through authentic products from domestic manufacturers.
Our main goal: to bring the taste of Ukraine back to those far from their homeland.
For a year, we have been importing ethnic goods from Ukrainian producers to the Canadian market, including sweets from Sweetale, beverages from Biola and Galizia, snacks by TM "Zolote Zerno," grains from "Sto Pudiv," and more. During this time, four large-scale shipments have been delivered to Canada, forming the foundation for a stable import process of Ukrainian production.
In October 2025, Mriya Foods entered into a partnership with the German company ULAN GmbH — a prominent manufacturer and distributor of Eastern European products with extensive experience in wholesale trade and exports.
Under the terms of the partnership, the import assortment consists of 50% Ukrainian goods and 50% products from ULAN sourced from countries such as Bulgaria, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Germany. These products align with the core values of quality and taste that are essential to Canadian consumers.
This partnership has enabled us to expand our product range, adding brands such as Emelya, Champion, Roshen, Ukrainka, Konti, CapriSun, and others.
Our collaboration with ULAN serves as proof that Ukrainian products have their own voice and a strong demand in the international market, far beyond the borders of Ukraine. Our shared goal is to ensure that traditional tastes remain close regardless of the distance, while steadily increasing the share of Ukrainian products in the international marketplace.
